Witches Tarot

0 - The Fool.png

Brilliant easy-to-use tarot deck by Ellen Dugan that echoes the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith structure, yet each card is rich in Pagan symbolism that resonates with today’s Witch.

The Major arcana includes cards such as High Priest and the Wheel of the Year, and the minor arcana aligns with the four natural elements that figure so prominently in the Witch’s craft.

The enchanting scenes in the Major Arcana cards show us evocative images and archetypes. These archetypes are symbolic figures such as the Fool, the Mother, the Father, the High Priest and High Priestess, and the Hero. They appear in various mythologies, and mystery traditions from all over the world. These archetypal images in the Major Arcana are drawn from many magical cultures. They are truly universal.

The Witches Tarot overlays natural Pagan symbols on the traditional tarot structure to create a visually attractive deck. Created by practicing garden Witch and Llewellyn author, Ellen Dugan (who also wrote the excellent companion book) and digitally illustrated by Mark Evans.
